For Florida residents, bringing out-of-town guests to a theme park is a rite of passage. This weekend was mine. While the wizards, dinosaurs and superheros were magical, there was also a lot of humanity I just couldn’t edit out. Thankfully, that added to the entertainment.

Presence

My husband can always make me smile. Even when he’s far away. Tomorrow, we will spend our third wedding anniversary en route to a funeral. Prior to the news, I’d been searching for an anniversary present. But now, I am reminded of what’s most important: his presence.
